STARS Peer Educators

STARS (Students Teaching about Responsible Sexuality) is our peer education group. Interested in helping your friends learn about sexual and reproductive health and rights? Join our STARS program!

Beyond the Birds and the Bees

This six-session, all-inclusive, comprehensive sexuality education program is the sex ed you deserve! Our program is science-based, sex-positive, and affirming for all. Sessions are limited to teens only, so you can feel free to ask questions without fear of judgement or shame.

Teens who complete this program will leave with:

  • A better understanding of your body, different identities and individual expression, how to prevent unintended pregnancies & STDs/STIs, and how to have more pleasurable & healthy relationships.

  • $50 gift card and a voucher for a year of free services from PPSNE after completion (not including abortion services & gender affirming hormone therapy)

Our FREE, six-session virtual program starts on April 15!
Join us Mondays from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Session Dates: April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13 and 20 

Teen Nights

Join us each month for a fun, interactive, sexuality education workshop created and led by our STARS peer educators. Past topics have covered:

  • Reproductive freedom and advocacy
  • Gender and identity
  • Anatomy and reproduction
  • Pregnancy and STD/STI prevention
  • Healthy relationships
  • Pleasure and healthy communication

Teen nights are virtual spaces for teens, by teens! Anyone who attends will receive a $15 gift card and a voucher for one free visit at any PPSNE health center (in-person or telehealth visit).
